Living the Word # 2

Remember that if God asks you to do something, He will give you necessary and sufficient strength to carry out that task. 

So do not be surprised or do not lose your FAITH if He asks you to give up secure, familiar surrounding IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT  HIS WILL.

Living the Word # 1 : Obedience through Suffering

But even though He (Jesus) was God's son, He learnt THROUGH HIS SUFFERINGS to BE OBEDIENT. - Bible (Hebrews 5:18)

The sufferings and hardships which we face in our lives make us learn Obedience to God. 

We ought to be patient during our hard times and rely on His mercies.

 

We need not be afraid when we are undergoing tough times or when faced with hardships. They come with a purpose in our lives.

 

Nothing (which we consider bad) happens to us but happens for us. They would not occur in our lives without God's plan and purpose behind them.

 

So always be joyful in your union with the Lord, be filled with hope and courage. We need not fear anything for the Lord Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
